- Using blockchain technology, BlocCarbon is creating a public record of all the good our community does. This is a public list that can never be changed. It will show the future generations how humanity's solidarity and good nature prevailed in Mother Earth's time of need.
- Blockchain is a type of decentralised ledger technology which enables people to permanently record information. Using consensus mechanisms, all data recorded on a blockchain is made public and is authenticated by all users of the blockchain. This makes the information immutable, allowing us to create a record of all the good that our community does, knowing that it will remain forever and will never be changed. Unlike other carbon offset companies, our approach is more transparent as we publicly record all contributions made to protecting Mother Earth by our community on blockchain.
